During his 25-year career, Mr. Blyer has held executive management and sales positions with a number of leading information technology firms. In 1999, he founded FunctionIT and began developing portfolio companies and providing management consulting services that help organizations utilize information technology to secure a competitive advantage.

In 1994, Blyer co-founded Vento Software, Inc., where he served as Chief Executive Officer and President until 1999, when Vento was acquired by SPSS Inc. After the acquisition, he served as President of the company’s Enabling Technologies Division.  

Blyer sits on the Blue Ribbon Scholarship Committee for Nova Southeastern University and has been a member of the Young Executive Council since September 2006. He is also Co-Chairman of Stone Profiles LLC, a manufacturer and installer of architectural cast stone for the residential and commercial construction markets.
